Dermaplaning is a service that you MUST be certified in by a Massachusetts State Board approved facility in order to offer this service. But don’t worry babe— we are one of those facilities!
Through this course, you will learn the theory and process of dermaplaning, which involves manually removing dead skin cells and vellus hair from the face while using a surgical blade. Topics are covered include various skin types and treatments used in conjunction with dermaplaning. This comprehensive course will teach you how to incorporate other add-ons such as LED, ultrasonic, facial massage techniques, and peels. Includes: a State Board Approved Certification, 16 hours of in-person training (10am-6pm), online training course, course manual, kit, and lunch.
Requires: Up-to-date license with the Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology or Aesthetics License. Two models brought by students are required on Day 2.
